INT. PRODUCTION OFFICE — NIGHT SCENE 01

20-hour breakdown, in minutes.

Dekupa starts where every production does — the breakdown. Upload your Final Draft (.fdx) or PDF, and Dekupa builds a scene-by-scene first breakdown in minutes; you refine it and export to Excel or CSV.

SCENE 05 — FAQ
  1. 01 Is my screenplay data safe?

Local upload, encryption at rest, EU data centres. Files aren’t shared, sold, or used to train AI models, and personal details are filtered out of AI calls. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

  2. 02 Are scanned PDFs supported?

Yes. Scanned (OCR) PDFs are supported — Dekupa runs OCR automatically. Text-based PDFs are read without issue anyway.

  3. 03 Is it really Movie Magic compatible?

Not yet — Movie Magic import/export is on the roadmap. For now you can take the breakdown as Excel and CSV; those files fit easily into most production workflows.

  4. 04 What about English screenplays?

Dekupa reads any .fdx or .pdf and extracts the elements regardless of language. Some optimizations are still being broadened beyond our first language, so quality keeps improving release over release — and fuller multilingual support is on the roadmap.

  5. 05 How does the beta work?

The beta is invite-based — close onboarding, feedback sessions, and a say in how the product takes shape. For AI credits, get in touch with us.
