Cookie Policy How we use cookies
About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Dekupa (based in Türkiye) uses cookies and similar technologies on dekupa.com and app.dekupa.com.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. For questions, contact [email protected].
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can remember your preferences or help keep a site secure. "Similar technologies" includes things like local storage that serve a comparable purpose.
Dekupa uses only a small number of strictly-necessary and security technologies, described below. We currently use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Strictly-necessary / functional cookies
- dekupa_lang — remembers your language choice so the site shows in your preferred language. It is a functional, strictly-necessary cookie and lasts up to 1 year.
This cookie is needed for the site to work as you expect and does not track you across other websites.
Security technologies
- Cloudflare Turnstile — our anti-bot challenge that helps protect forms from spam and abuse. To do this, Turnstile may set a security cookie. It is used for security, not advertising.
This helps keep the waitlist and the Service safe from automated abuse.
Analytics — cookieless
We use cookieless analytics that don’t store identifiers on your device:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — basic page-view statistics (always cookieless).
- PostHog — product analytics; runs cookieless by default, with session recording disabled. With your consent it switches to cookie-based storage so we can follow a visitor’s journey across pages and measure retention (see below).
Analytics & advertising cookies (with your consent)
When you accept cookies in our consent banner, Dekupa uses:
- PostHog (cookie mode) — to connect a visitor’s actions across pages and sessions for user journeys, funnels and retention. Session recording stays disabled.
- Advertising pixels of Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok — to measure ad conversions and improve targeting.
These set cookies and may share event data (such as page views and sign-ups) with those providers. If you decline, none of these load — PostHog stays in cookieless anonymous mode and no advertising pixels run. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the `dekupa_consent` cookie.
How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or clear cookies and similar storage.
Note that the dekupa_lang cookie is functional: if you block or delete it, the site may not remember your language choice. Blocking the Turnstile security cookie may prevent forms from working correctly.
Changes and contact
As a beta product, our use of cookies may change. We will update the date below when we make changes.
